NVIDIA has launched a new driver, Hotfix 566.45, which addresses micro-stuttering issues in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and stability problems in certain Ubisoft games using the Snowdrop engine.

Users had reportedly been complaining about these issues on X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit. Despite having high-end, latest GPUs, many experienced stuttering in the affected games.

Aside from these fixes, the driver does not provide any performance improvements or additional application fixes.

If you play the mentioned games, it is recommended to download and update these drivers on your PC. However, if you do not play these titles, there is no need to update, as it won’t bring any changes to your PC.

It’s also worth noting that the drivers include some updates to the NVIDIA app. Game Filters are now disabled by default, which eliminates the performance degradation caused by them in previous driver versions.

You can download the new drivers using this link. If they cause any issues on your PC, you are advised to roll back to the previous version.
